Did you know the Saks F&F Sale has started? The discount is a generous 25% off of regular prices, and 20% off of jewelry. Use promo code FRNFAM at checkout. :-) Expires on 4/28/14 and many exclusions do apply!
Hello there, readers! As my loyal email subscribers have already noticed, my newsletter has recently been overhauled (brought back from the dead is more like it). If you’d like to receive a weekly update from Raging Rouge, simply click on the “Join Email List” button below, and enter your email address! I hate spam myself, so it’s easy to unsubscribe as well.
This option is perfect if you don’t want to miss the GWP and sale info I post frequently on the site!
It will be easy to find $45 of Estee Lauder product to throw into your cart at Nordstrom.com to earn their new GWP. The AERIN BEAUTY “Kaleidolight” palette alone will get you there (it’s on my must-have list) and Nordstrom is even offering some Estee Lauder items at a discount (Bronze Goddess Pure Color Eyeshadow Palette and Lipshine, for example).
Promo code “LIFT” or “PROTECT” is required at checkout, to personalize the skincare you will receive with your gift. Have fun shopping!
I love a steal as much as anyone… ok, maybe more. It’s deals like the upcoming Shopbop Friends & Family sale that make me dig deep into their selection, carefully determining what items I’ll need to be prepared for the coming summer months, what birthdays are coming up, and what holidays I need to consider. Think about it: You need summer sandals, your husband needs sunglasses, Mother’s Day is coming up, Father’s Day, Wedding season… There are so many reasons to fill that cart!
The discount is 25% off site wide, including sale items! Sites are both Shopbop.com and EastDane.com, and sale runs from April 15-19, 2014. INTHEFAMILY14 is the promo code, so get to it!
Oh wow, readers, I owe you an apology! I dropped off the face of the earth there for a while, and ended up missing a few days of providing you with the eye candy you have come to love! My family and I are in the process of moving, and I’ve been literally working like a farm-hand, in an attempt to get things settled as quickly as possible.
In this photo are my tootsies enjoying a morning off from the move, poolside, wearing my Tory Burch Abitha Flip Flops. I grabbed them on sale at Shopbop and it was a great move! They’re comfy, but were cheap enough that I’m not worried about ruining them.
On my toes in this photo is MAC Imperial Flower Nail Lacquer, an oldie but goodie dating back to Fall 2010. The frosty orange shade is a great choice for Spring and Summer (though it was limited-edition, so if you want it now you’ll have to look at Ebay).
Stay well readers, and I’ll be back to regular blogging soon!

It’s a simple question, and for those of us with an iPhone or other Apple device it’s easy enough to monitor. But this gal is a PC, so until an online application is available, I’ve been able to check this easily using Microsoft Excel.
Step 1: Go To Your Profile And Click On Followers
Step 2: Scroll All The Way To The End (to ensure the names of all of your followers are on the screen)
Step 3: Right Click On The Screen And “Select All”
Step 4: Paste Into A Microsoft Excel Worksheet
Step 5: Create Another Blank Worksheet
Step 6: Click On “Following”
Step 7: Scroll All The Way To The End (to ensure all of the names of those you are following are in your worksheet)
Step 8: Paste Into A Blank Microsoft Excel Worksheet
Step 9: Turn The Gibberish Into Something Useful
You will notice that there is a pattern. The number of rows between each name might vary, depending on what version of Excel you are using. Enter the number 1 next to the first “follower” on the list, and zeros next to the data that you want to remove. When you get to the second name, enter a reference back to the cell with the 1 in it. Then copy and paste that cell all the way to the end of your list.
Step 10: Copy the entire worksheet, and paste as values. There is now a 1 next to each name, and zeros next to lines you’d want to remove.
Step 11: Sort by Column C, and delete all of the zeros. You are now left with only names in your list.
Step 12: Repeat step 1 through 11 for your “Following” list.
Step 13: At this point, you will have two lists that look like the screenshot above. One contains the names of your followers, and the other a list of names you are following. Go to the tab that contains the list of those you are following, and enter a vlookup function with your list of followers as the data source.
Step 14: Copy the vlookup formula all the way down to the end of your list. The names with a “1″ are following you in return. The names with a #n/a are not. You can now scroll through your Following list, to determine if these names still deserve you as a “fan” or not.
If you’re looking to see which of your followers has stopped following you, collect these databases over time and use vlookup to compare them to each other!

My complexion is always in need of a bit of correction! These products from MAC can conceal and cancel flaws to give you the perfect canvas for your makeup. Personally, I can always use a touch of yellow to neutralize my redness.
