FIVE years ago today, I published my very first post on Raging Rouge!  My oldest son was an “only” at the time, and at 18 months old he was sleeping through the night and napping regularly for 3 hours a day.  This Mom was house-bound, but well-rested enough to seek both intellectual stimulation and a way to keep her resume fresh.  Add those desires to a life-long love of writing and bathroom cabinets filled with fun beauty products, and you get the birth of this beauty reviews blog!

Blogging has been an exciting and enriching experience.  Raging Rouge has become a part-time job of sorts (and I am actually writing this post in a notebook while getting a pedi, so it’s a pretty sweet job to have).  It has been my pleasure to “virtually” meet so many like-minded women all over the world.  Perhaps the best perk has been the opportunity to provide information and entertainment to a very saavy and very chic group of makeup shoppers… YOU!
