Eye Makeup Ideas: The Super-Easy Neutral Eye Using MAC, Urban Decay and Chanel

eye makeup ideas, the super-easy neutral eye, mac, urban decay, chanel

I’m always in search of a two-minute makeup application that gives the appearance that I’ve spent much more time in front of the mirror!  Here are my ingredients for this eye makeup idea chock full of rich brown hues:

1)  Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin, retail price $17

2)  MAC Eye Shadow in Mulled Cider, retail price $14.50 (from the recently launched Warm & Cozy Collection)

3)  MAC Studio Fix Lash in Black Fix, retail price $13 (from the recently launched In The Studio Collection)

4)  Chanel Le Crayon Yeux in Teak, retail price $28 (and a staple in my makeup bag for YEARS)

Instructions:

  • Apply Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin to eyelid, and blend upward to browbone with finger.  Allow it to dry.
  • Then apply MAC Eye Shadow in Mulled Cider to eyelid heavily, and blend upward with finger, falling short of the browbone.  This allows Sin Primer Potion to be used as a creamy shadow highlight under the browbone.
  • Apply Chanel Le Crayon Yeux in Teak to the top and bottom lashline, and use finger or smudge-stick to blend.
  • Apply two coats of MAC Studio Fix Lash in Black Fix.
  • Voila!  You have a semi-dramatic neutral eye that takes no time at all!  Another perk?  The makeup needed to touch up this look fits easily into even the most petite clutch.
