As a teenager in the 80s, I embraced my naturally curly tresses and wore my hair curly almost every day. I wasn’t alone. Almost EVERY girl at my high school sported curly hair, and was proud of it. In the 90s, this trend came full-circle, and those of us blessed with curly hair decided to hide behind flat irons and chemical processes.
I’m not sure about you, but I’ve noticed the trend changing yet again. Curls and waves are slowly making their way back into the mainstream. Unlike the kinky curls of yesteryear, today’s wavy tendrils are smooth and controlled. Product assistance is required for most of us!
