TINte Cosmetics Shimmering Face Pearls In Sun Kissed

TINte Shimmering Face Pearls Sun Kissed - Natural and noticable. Sparkle like a sun goddess! TINte Shimmering Face Pearls is a versatile loose powder intended to be used literally everywhere!  TINte recommends countless creative uses for this product: mixing with foundation, lotion, and even nail polish!

I sampled this product in "Sun Kissed" and loved the golden glow it gave my skin.  Dusted on the cheekbones, this shade is a fantastic compliment to summer bronzer as a warm highlighter.  Applied as a shadow, it can give a palette of neutral shadows an added kick.  My personal favorite use is as a base for gloss (giving is much longer wear time on the lips, and some added sparkle.  The best news:  TINte’s Face Pearls in Sun Kissed will easily carry you through fall as a creative way to add some dimension to your favorite lipstick shade.  Simply brush the powder over lipstick to give your favorite shade an entirely new look!

This mineral based powder is gentle on sensitive skin.  Don’t let the tiny size fool you… this product actually contains four times as much powder as a typical pressed powder eyeshadow.  Good thing, too, because you’ll be using it four times as often!

TINte Shimmering Face Pearls are $14, and can be purchased online at TINte Cosmetics or Makeup.com.  Be sure to check for local retailers at TINte’s website, as many boutiques carry this line!   If you’re buying directly from TINte, don’t forget to enter the promotional code "GLOSS" for 20% off of your purchase!  This discount code will expire on September 30th.

Pout Miami Beach Compact

If you have yet to try any products by Pout, be sure to snag the Miami Beach Compact before the summer ends!  This bronze compact is covered with images of shady palms and hibiscus, and contains a palette of two cream-based cheek colors and two lip polishes.  Pout refers to this limited edition compact as the “ultimate sexy summer accessory” and I must say I agree!  What product is cooler to carry than this beautiful compact, or more convenient?  It’s 3″ diameter makes it back-pocket portable!

The bronze cheek color imparts a sun-kissed glow, and the pink shimmer cheek color makes the cheeks rosy with a “just played volleyball on the beach with the boys” pink.  The glosses are two different shades of pink, suitable for any complexion, and easily blended together to create a color all your own.  The mirror inside is definitely large enough for pool-side application!

This product retails for £18.00 on Pouts website. Be sure to check out Victoria’s Secret for the “Palm Beach” version of this compact, for $28.

Hard Candy SoCal Glow Bronzer

Beauty, Beauty Blog, Beauty Blogger, Makeup, Cosmetics, Product Reviews, Makeup Reviews, Raging Rouge, SoCal Glow is a fantastic addition to the fun and feminine brand that is Hard Candy.  This bronzer comes in a large, flat case, roughly the side of a CD.  The color of the bronzer is easy to control… it applies as dark or as light as you desire.  My skin is extremely fair, a quality that has made finding the perfect bronzer difficult.  SoCal Glow is truly a bronzing-solution for any complexion.

The Hard Candy website offers this tip:  Use this product on your legs for a true tan illusion!  What a brilliant solution for the pale-legged among us!

SoCal Glow retails at $22 for 0.86 oz. of bronzer (that’s the weight of the product ladies… not including the case).  Did you know some other bronzers provide less than 0.3 oz of product?  Take that into consideration when you’re eying this price tag!  Another bonus for those who breakout often or have sensitive skin… this product is Talc-free to prevent irritation, and contains vitamin E, Jojoba and aloe to lightly moisturize the skin!

Benefit Rush Hour

Benefit Cosmetics Rush Hour, Beauty Product ReviewsYou’re all probably bored to death of my obsession with multi-tasking product, but I’m always thrilled when I find a product that can help to lighten my load.  Especially since my bag now carries diapers, wipes, and juice bottles in addition to my own belongings.

Benefit Rush Hour is a cream-based color for both lips and cheeks.  Rush Hour’s mauve color is good for any skin tone, and its oil-free formula is good for any complexion.

The best part is, unlike other cheek/lip color sticks that I’ve sampled, Rush Hour is a thin and long shape– not stout and thick.  This makes it much easier for lip application, not to mention clutch-worthy and very portable!

Benefit Cosmetics Show Offs!

beauty blog, cosmetic, cosmetics, makeup, eyeshadow, powderI’ve found it!  I’ve finally found it!

Remember when I wrote about my off-label use for Tarte eyeshadow?  I am pleased to report that I have found a fabulous replacement for the little white eyeshadow with multiple uses!  Benefit Cosmetics sparkling loose eye powder in Miss Moon is my latest white eyeshadow/highlighter of choice.

The wet/dry formula gives limitless possibilities for application.  The same powder can  be recklessly dusted onto the cheekbones or precisely painted onto the eyes.  There’s no limit to what this little jar of loose powder can do!

Miss Moon is a shimmery white shade, with a subtle hint of gold to add sparkle to any complexion.  I applied this product above the cheekbone, and was impressed with the beautiful highlight it left on my fair skin.  I brushed some onto the inner corners of the eyes.  My reaction to its effect on my eyes was wow… Wow… WOW!  It really made them pop.  I admired my wide-eyed look in the mirror all day.

Benefit Cosmetics Show Offs! are available in nearly a dozen shades, so be sure to check it out.  Retail price is $16.

Don’t forget to try your luck at the Benefit and Piperlime Goodie Bag Game! Perhaps you’ll get the chance to try Show Offs compliments of Benefit!

Global Goddess Beauty Chai Cheek Color

Many products claim to be universally flattering.  Upon applying Global Goddess Beauty Chai Cheek Color in Mirik (pictured at left) to my lily-white skin, it immediately struck me that the punchy peach color that looked so great with my complexion would look equally invigorating on the deepest of ebony skin as well.

I ran through through a checklist to determine true universal application, and it passed with flying colors.  Would it look good on Alex Wek?  Damn right it would!  Eva Longoria?  Absolutely!  The Indian-America creator of Global Goddess Beauty, Shalini Vadhera?  Oh, definitely!  Gwen Stefani?  No doubt!

Chai Cheek Color contains green tea as an antioxidant, safflower seed oil as a skin nourisher, pearls to add luminance, and Ginseng to calm the skin.  Even the case is beautiful!  This product is available for $20 at Sephora, or Global Goddess Beauty.

Cargo BeachBlush

iconiconCargo’s new BeachBlush is so popular, the color I wanted (Sunset Beach) was actually sold out the first time I tried to buy it!

This striped blush leaves the cheeks looking shimmery, rosy and sun-kissed.  Because the pink and tan tones are separated out into stripes, it also doubles as a fantastic eyeshadow.

Lorac Cheek Stamp in Golden Glow

iconiconI finally got around to trying Lorac Cheek Stamp.  The application mechanism is terrific.  The diameter of the stamp ensures that blush is deposited perfectly on the apple of the cheek.  When I stamped my cheeks, my husband jokingly said I looked like "a clown".  He was totally right, at first…  Those clown-like circles easily blend into a flush on your cheeks.

I’ve adopted an interesting strategy for makeup hunting.  I check out the item I am interested in, determine which color has been used the least, and sample that color.  Even if you’re using the exact same product as everyone else, you don’t have to look like clones!

So it was with Lorac’s Cheek Stamp, in Golden Glow.  The pink and coral shades had seen heavy traffic at my local Sephora, and Golden Glow was sitting there lonely and sad… never touched.

Golden Glow is a wonderful choice for the summer.  My skin hasn’t seen the light of day in about a decade, and this product made me appear naturally sun-kissed.  Miracle!

Benefit Moon Beam

iconiconLooking for a highlighter to accent your naturally dark complexion, or a fierce tan?  I recommend Moon Beam by Benefit.  It’s a warm, glowy alternative to High Beam, and just right for those with a deeper skin color.

E.L.F. All Over Color Stick

Beauty, Beauty Blog, Beauty Blogger, Makeup, Cosmetics, Product Reviews, Makeup Reviews, Raging Rouge, E.L.F.’s All Over Color Stick is the exact type of product I choose to tote along with me on my travels because it’s an eyeshadow, blush and gloss in one tiny tube.  Glide it over cheeks for a dewy, rosy glow.  Dab it on your eyelids for shadow and brush it on lips for gloss.  One stick is all you need for some casual daytime color, and it’s small enough to slip into a clutch.  I personally sampled "Persimmon", and love it.  It’s a pale neutral shade with just a hint of pink, perfect for all complexions.
