Midnight Bleu Swatch, Laura Mercier Eye Pencil

I’ve been really into blue eye pencils these days, so my basic black and neutral browns have had a chance for a wee bit of a makeup nap.  I received a press sample of Laura Mercier Eye Pencil in Midnight Bleu, and the shade is such a terrific way to add a splash of color to your makeup routine this summer.  While photographing swatches of Midnight Bleu, I just had showcase how perfectly precise this eye pencil applies. MAC Technakohl Eye Pencil in Greyprint

Over the past couple years we’ve seen warm chocolate browns make way to shades of taupe or “greige” and I expect that this trend will continue.  In fact I think eventually pure shade browns will give we will graduate from using browns to using pure shades of gray.

Greyprint is a unique looking pale grey-taupe eyeliner.  The Technakohl Liner comes in a retractable format. I like the shade Greyprint so much the second-highest watch it I immediately applied it to my eyes!  Click through for swatches!
