Exciting beauty news from Fusion Brands! Kim Kardashian has just signed up to be the face of Fusion Beauty Colorceuticals’ LipFusion franchise and new IllumiFill Line Filling Luminizer.
Above is an the brand new LipFusion Capsule Collection which Kim is a big fan of especially because of its amazing charitable component. The “Luxe Boudoir” collection consists of four new vibrant LipFusion Color Shine glosses with shimmer effect to commemorate FusionBeauty and Seven Bar Foundation’s “Kiss Away Poverty” campaign where one dollar of every sale of LipFusion Color Shine, LipFusion Clear and LipFusion Infatuation glosses is donated to the organization to help empower women to get out of poverty through microfinance.
(The “Luxe Boudoir” collection will be available at Sephora, Ulta, Dillards and other retailers nationwide retailing for $29 USD.)

Part of MAC Cosmetics Spring Colour 4 Forecast, Bronzilla Lipstick is my absolute favoritelipstick from the entire MAC Spring 2010 Colour Forecast collection. That’s saying a LOT. Did you know the collection contains 12 different lipstick shades? Egads!
This slightly darker than nude shade is laced with a sizzling metallic finish. Bronzilla goes with positively everything, is on-trend, and delivers rich lasting color!
Gold Dust Lipglass is a sheer gloss that leaves just a hint of shimmery gold on the lips. While you can certainly use it stand-alone (it would be a magnificent addition to your beach tote), I love to apply it over lipstick to add more depth and interest.
Retail price is $14 for Bronzilla Lipstick and $14 for Gold Dust Lipglass.

Generally, I respect a celebrity’s right to lead a normal life free of fan harrassment. I’ve run into my share of famous people while going about my business, and have almost always left them alone.
Except for the time I crossed paths with Cyndi Lauper while roaming the halls of NBC-10 Philadelphia. Understanding the fact that she was most certainly very busy that day, I simply had to stop her for an autograph. There she was, adorably petite, perfect-skinned and yellow haired. I HAD to have proof that I saw her in the flesh! All I had was a post-it note, and Cyndi complied by writing her well-known “love peace” autograph on my little scrap of paper. What a thrill it was for me!
So why did I stop Cyndi? Well, beyond being an amazingly talented singer and songwriter–Cyndi Lauper was a fashion icon for women who came of age in the mid-80s. If my parents hadn’t vehemently objected, I most certainly would have sported her flame-red hairstyle made famous in her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun video! Perhaps it is this deep-rooted love for Cyndi’s feminine but flaunt-it style that makes me gravitate to her Viva Glam Lipstick: Cyndi.
This deep shade is described as “light coral red” by MAC. To me, it’s appearance is more of a deep hot pink, with just a touch of coral. It’s the perfect bright-mouthed lipstick shade for Spring 2010… and don’t forget that 100% of the proceeds are donated to the MAC Aids Fund!
Retail price is $14.

Lady Gaga was apparently very pleased to put her name on this 80s inspired shade for MAC Viva Glam. This super-sheer light blue pink shade is easily layered to create a more intense, pale-mouthed look. This Viva Glam lipstick is an excellent pick for youthful makeup lovers, or just those young at heart!

Makeup Swatch: Metal Maven swatch (left) and Riveting swatch (right)
The lipsticks favored by women of the 80s ran the gamut of color: white, pink, red… almost anything was game! But those who were teens at the time will recall that pale, shimmery colors like Metal Maven (above left) and Riveting (above right) were favored by the young.
Want to recapture your glory days? You can do it in the form of lipstick with these two shades from MAC’s Riveting collection!
Retail price is $14 per lipstick.

Grab it while you can, beauties… because MAC’s limited-edition “Riveting” collection is scheduled to be pulled from shelves in mid-March!
The inspiration for this succinct collection of MAC makeup? Edgy, rock-n-roll beauties from the 80s. Did MAC manage to capture that glamour in this collection? I’ll let you be the judge. Below (borrowed with thanks from Amazon.com) is an image of Berlin’s “Pleasure Victim” album cover, circa 1983. Tell me that the makeup on lead-singer Terri Nunn doesn’t look like it was created with some of the makeup I photographed, above?
Bright, almost-neon lips, cheeks with an other-worldly flush, and makeup that looks anything but natural were the style. Oh, how I’ve missed it and love seeing it again! Stay tuned. The next few posts will focus on the collection in more depth.

Already seen enough? Click one of the links below to snag product from MAC Riveting collection!

Trend alert, readers! Make Up For Ever has informed me that orange makeup is hotter than hot! I had the opportunity to test drive a couple of orange makeup shades by Make Up For Ever… and here’s the skinny. They’re much more wearable than you think! Check it!

Above is an image of me wearing Make Up For Ever Glossy Full Couleur in #2. This bright shade of tangerine can be layered. One swipe=sheer. Two swipes=severe! Love this juicy-lipped look, and it’s universally flattering.

Ok… Lipstick #201 by Make Up For Ever is definitely for a special kind of gal. This shade is super-opaque and vibrant to the extreme. I assure you… you WILL GET NOTICED! If coral lips are too “tame” for you, you’ll love this lipstick.
Below is content provided directly from Make Up For Ever, for the readers of Raging Rouge!
This spring’s hottest new hues come straight from the runways. Shades of juicy ORANGE were embraced by make up artists on models’ eyes, cheeks and lips during spring 2010 fashion week’s biggest shows.
MAKE UP FOR EVER offers a bold yet wearable palette of orange make up must-haves to keep your look in line with the rising temps.

Celebrated make up artist Pat McGrath embraced a bold orange lip at Prada. McGrath perfected the models’ pouts with Lipstick #201 for long-lasting creamy, glossy color and topped it off with

Glossy Full Couleur #2 for an eye-catching neon look.

Models at Balenciaga flaunted vibrant orange eyes that can be recreated with highly pigmented Eye Shadow #18. Swiped on inner corners of the eye or on the entire lid, this shade can add an unexpected pop of color to everyday make up.

Layer Star Powder #952 over any shade of neutral toned eye shadow to add a hint of orange shimmer to the eyes.

For color that won’t quit, choose a waterproof pencil like Aqua Lip #17C to set your lipstick or gloss.
Eye Shadow / $19.00 ~ Star Powder / $19.00
Aqua Lip / $17.00 ~ Lipstick / $19.00 ~ Glossy Full Couleur / $19.00
