I previously wrote about my unpleasant experience with Zoom Whitening treatments. So when I received a surprise sample of Luster, I was a bit terrified to try it. This at-home whitening system utilizes a light! Ack! I practically had a seizure when I saw the contraption.
But, after reading a bit… I decided to give it a go. After all, what whitening product on the market promises ZERO tooth sensitivity, clinical proof that it is safe and effective and a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee!
Perhaps equally appealing to the promise of pain-free at-home tooth whitening, was the fact that this three step process is simple enough for anyone to follow.
1) Rinse with accelerator mouth rinse for ten seconds
2) Brush "smile teeth" with whitening gel. "Smile teeth" are the front eight teeth on the top and bottom of your mouth.
3) Turn on tooth whitening light. You can even surround the light with your lips, to help keep it in place (this is what I did).
The three step process, from start to finish, takes only about 3 minutes (seriously!). In one hour, you can repeat the process 20 times, for whitening up to 6 shades lighter than where you started! Sadly, I didn't have the hour to dedicate to the process, but repeated it 5 times. In 15 minutes, my teeth looked whiter. If you need instant gratification, this is the product for you!

When my first son turned one, I decided to treat myself to a Zoom treatment. My dentist had been talking it up for years, and my teeth were looking a bit dingy. I wanted a brighter smile!
