Our first 65 degree day of the Fall was also cloudy. All it took was one day with no sunshine or warmth and **bam**, I felt like I hit a wall. My energy level positively plummeted, and I tried to caffeinate my lethargy away to no avail.
The newest bloom in KENZO’s “flower” family–FlowerTag–is an invigorating scent that brightened my mood on that dreary day. My guess is the zing of mandarin in the scent was what gave my spirits a lift. Fan di Fendi is sensual and polished, and not overpowering. To me the fragrance is all about taste, wealth and sophistication. I imagine the woman who wears it to be dressed to the nines and excruciatingly successful. Funny, because the ads wrapped around the scent tell a completely different story from my impression! This blogger is always a fan of superb packaging, and Fendi did not disappoint. Created in 1965 by Karl Lagerfeld himself, the ”FF” logo is still a status symbol almost 50 years later. Naturally, it is fitting for this recognizable logo to be selected as the design for the of the bottle, gleaming in a mirror-finish opulent gold.
