With Raging Rouge, I strive to deliver only the best. My favorite things are photographed, reviewed, and swatched. My not so favorite things? I wouldn’t dream of wasting your time with a post.
So generally you’ll read about familiar brands on Raging Rouge, and the reason is simply because they are superior.
Every now and then, I am surprised by a new brand that outperforms some old favorites. IT Cosmetics was exactly that surprise when I was introduced to the brand about one year ago. The makeup I have had the opportunity to sample has been heavenly, delivering a beautiful result every time. Their tools are equally divine. I had sworn off mineral foundation a while ago, but their Celebration Foundation brought me back to the fold, with its amazing coverage and finish.
But I digress. Today I’m actually introducing you to their Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss in the shade “I Believe”. This gloss even FEELS good on the lips, and using the word “butter” in the name is brilliant simply because it’s true. This gloss is buttery and decadent. The color? I’ll let my swatch of “I Believe” below, speak for itself.
The Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss formula actually contains anti-aging and moisturizing ingredients, so you’re not only scoring streak-free saturated color, but feel-good lip therapy!
Retail price is $24 per tube. Worth every penny!

Feast your eyes on the latest by Hourglass… Ambient Lighting Blush! You know that I am crazy about Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, so my fingers are crossed that this product also delivers the mind-blowing light-play of that exquisite product!
Available in Dim Infusion, Radiant Magenta, Mood Exposure, Luminous Flush, Diffused Heat, and Ethereal Glow. Retail price is $35 per powder.
For Spring 2014, Tarte has launched the Power Pigment lip crayon. I adore the form-factor of a lip crayon, as it provides precision and generally wears much like a lipstick/gloss hybrid. Power Pigments deliver a wonderful splash of color, and coordinate with the Tarte Cheek Stain lineup. Before I dive deeper into the product itself, admire the pretty packaging!
Call me what you will, but two things are definitely true. 1) I am NO liar. and 2) I am the worst at nail art. The. Worst. So when I tell you that these Hot Designs Nail Art pens help to make nail art easy, you know that it’s a fact.
Here’s the low-down. The six colors included in this set are contained in three long, easily handled pen style device. You can either unscrew the top to paint your nails with a nail brush, or pop off the cap to reveal a tiny pin-point nail applicator. Nail polish is applied through the dotting tool with a very small squeeze, making it a snap create some simple designs.
The above three designs were created by me! I’m not going to claim they are any masterpiece, but trust me this is the best work I’ve ever done. Polka dots are fun and simple, and the Hot Designs Nail Art set makes that easy. The set includes some ideas that are easy to follow (like the hearts and flowers, shown above). One thing I will say is that this nail polish is on the thick side, so I would recommend using these tools only for nail art, rather than the base coat.
Hot Designs Nail Art Pens retail for $14.00 per set. The set above is the “basics” collection, but they also offer a “Glitz & Glam” set that contains trendier colors. Click HERE to check it out or check out the HSN set of 12 shades for $19.99.
Hot Designs is also hosting a Facebook Sweeps where fans can upload a picture of their best nails for a chance to win a package of Hot Designs each day. One will even win a $1,000 American Express gift card! Simply ”like” Hot Designs on Facebook follow the hashtag #HOTnotd to take part in the fun.

So which do you think best suits your complexion? Four shades at the far left are from the Bronze Eye Palette, the center four shades are Crystal Eye Palette, and four shades at far right are Nude Eye Palette. Seeing them all lined up like this really highlights the warm (Bronze) vs. the cool (Nude) vs. the pink (Crystal). I honestly do love them all!
More Nude Glow gorgeousness!
Wrapping it up… finally.
The Eye Palettes from the Bobbi Brown Nude Glow collection are each $50. Do you have one on your list?
Retailers include BobbiBrown.com, Nordstrom.com, Saks.com, NeimanMarcus.com, and Bloomingdales.com.
