Gaiam Pointelle Knit Sweater Review

gaiam pointelle knit sweater review

Going green can feel sooooo good!

When I was in college, some of my sorority sisters would often refer to comfy clothing as “yummy”, but until I slipped on the Pointelle Knit Sweater cardigan by Gaiam, I’ve truly never worn an article of clothing worthy of that description.  The second I pulled on this super-soft but equally trendy sweater, “yummy” was indeed the first word that came to mind!

This open cardigan features a shawl collar for that loose, fluttery of-the-moment fit.  The precise pointelle knit pattern actually creates a figure-flatering design along the back of the sweater.  Nothing has ever made me with for cooler days, except for this sweater!  I have it all worked out in my mind.  I plan to pair it with basic blue denim, a white layering-t and my favorite knee-high brown suede boots.  Casual perfection!

Green consumers will be happy to read that this garment is made from 53% organic cotton and 47% rayon made from sustainable bamboo.  The brand has an impressive collection of organic clothing and eco sweaters, so be sure to check it out!
