According to WWD, in late September 2010 MAC Cosmetics will be launching a limited-edition color collection featuring four villainous Disney characters. Lipstick, powder, lip gloss and blush shades will be sold, ranging in price from $12 to $29.50. Which characters do you think the collection will feature? Cruella DeVille is a gimme, right? I’ll admit, I am a total makeup snob. “Value” brands utilizing cheap ingredients are no value at all in my eyes.

This versatility is so useful during the holiday season, when so many of us dash from the office directly to a party!
Each blush is clinically and dermatologically tested to be suitable for sensitive skin (a welcome fact for any rosacea sufferers who may be reading this). The sifter was recently redesigned so there’s less counter-top mess (and less product wasted).

Textured Teal is a fairly new addition to the Avon color collection, introduced in Fall 2009 as part of “Tribal Teals”. Though Fall slowly morphed into Winter, this quad is still extremely relevant. Packed with cool, snowy blues an icy gray and ashen taupe, the palette of colors resembles a snow-scape on a clear day.
The price tag of this palette is as compelling as the colors! The true color eyeshadow quad is a mere $8!

Smooth Minerals Lipstick (a personal favorite) retails for $8. I’ve mentioned this product before in a post highlighting the best lipsticks for Fall 2009, but still love the Malted Mineral shade for Winter (actually, I love this shade for any season!).
