$36 for 6 silky, vibrant MAC eyeshadows? What a steal! If any one eye shadow compact fully embodies the spirit of MAC A Tartan Tale, it would be 6 Twists Of Tartan, filled with kilt-inspired shades.

Ordinarily, combining bold eyeshadow shades such as these would scare me off. However, the color payoff frome this palette is a bit less intense than I expected. This makes these bold colors infinitely more wearable. The shades are soft… like a watercolor painting!
