Ok… ok… This is a re-post. Sue me for wanting a day off! Even though the Summer season is over, I still think this hydration mist by glominerals is a must-have. It keeps skin refreshed and moist, and that forced-air heat can be vicious! So, just in case you’ve forgotten about this product review, consider this a little reminder!
Had you mentioned “Evian” to me in the 80s, it would not have conjured up images of bottled drinking water. My mother always stocked bottles of Evian mist to replenish facial moisture throughout the day.
I recently snagged a similar product, called gloMoist Hydration Mist. Ideal to keep at the office for a refresher, its 2 oz. size is also compact enough for application at 30,000 feet. Simply spray a fine mist of water over your face to rehydrate. You’ll be simultaneously giving your skin a healthy dose of antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients.
Retail price $17.50.

MAC color cosmetics in cases adorned by the legendary villians who terrified us in our childhood… can you think of a cuter compact to pull out during the Halloween season?

I’ve mentioned before (perhaps too many times) that once upon a time I was a road warrior! Living out of a suitcase is difficult, in particular where bulky product is concerned. I managed to lighten the load with portable tools, like an atomizer.
Sadly, the atomizer I used was NOT the brilliant Scent Genie, pictured above! My atomizer was a tiny glass bottle with a funnel. To fill it, I had to spray, spray, spray my fragrance into the miniscule funnel. I almost always sprayed a fair amount on my hand in the process, wasting expensive perfume! Filling my atomizer was slow and messy (though still an improvement from carrying a full-sized bottle)!
The Scent Genie simplifies this process, and eliminates the mess and waste!
As this adorable little image (above) illustrates, the Scent Genie is actually connected to the tube of your spray fragrance. Just pump the atomizer up and down a few times, and the Scent Genie is filled… no mess, and no waste! The process is lightening fast. Other pros? When you use the Scent Genie, the spray is a fine mist. Some atomizers shoot perfume out in a stream. It’s fragrance… not glass cleaner!
The Scent Genie is available in a variety of colors, perfect for buying multiples if you like the ability to quickly tell one scent from another. It also makes a terrific gift!
Retail price is $9.95. Click HERE to buy Scent Genie online .

For those of you who prefer tinted moisturizer to foundation, super-opaque eye shadow primers are likely a turnoff. If you’re in search of a sheer alternative to heavy primers, you’ll love LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer. This eye shadow primer is semi-sheer, and so amazingly dewy. Similar to other primers, it helps to increase the duration of shadow wear, and make colors appear more vivid. But, the LORAC formula also happens to feel incredibly moisturizing, almost like you’re wearing a nighttime eye cream!
Retail price is $20 for a full sized bottle, or a full sized bottle can also be found in the LORAC Close Up Eye Tutorial Kit with a retail of $36.
