Urban Decay Book Of Shadows Vol. II Review

I’ve never assigned reading here on the Raging Rouge Beauty Blog, and I’m not going to start now. This must-have book requires no reading glasses or lamp, only a sense of style and some creativity!

Last year, Urban Decay knocked the socks off of eyeshadow aficionados everywhere with the legendary “Book of Shadows, Volume I” eye palette. Part of their holiday 2008 collection, it almost literally flew off of shelves in boutiques everywhere… slow economy and all.

This year, Urban Decay offers Book of Shadows Vol. II, and if you’re a fan of the original, you should definitely move on this fast. Vibrant, glittery shades are mixed with must-have metallics and neutrals. It’s the most popular eye palette of the season!

This year’s design is smart and useful. The top lid opens to reveal a huge mirror and a manual to help you replicate eye makeup ideas by the pros!

tarte Review: Holiday 2009, Crown Jewels Lipgloss Multi Gift Set

We all have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, but that doesn’t mean times aren’t tough. Unemployment numbers are astonishingly high, pinching the gift-giving budgets of many holiday shoppers.

tarte Review: Holiday 2009, Three Carats Mini Cheek Stain Set

After last year’s holiday collection, I waited with bated breath to see if tarte would release an update of their giftable collection of cult-status cheek stains.

I wasn’t disappointed! This year, tarteupped the ante with this bling-encrusted cheek stain set! Each shade is named after a different diamond shape: brilliant- a shimmering champagne, princess- a shimmering rose and cushion- a shimmery deep apricot. The shades included in this value set are universally flattering, making it a wonderful gift choice!
