I just read that ColorOn… Professional’s "Eye Envy" collection is now available online at Sephora.com, and will debut in stores this July.  Six different variety kits are available to makeup addicts everywhere: Flaunt, Tropics, Rhapsody in Grey, Exotics, Precious Metals and Smokey Eye.  I’m especially looking forward to checking out the new shades inspired by tropical locales.

Each box contains five different pairs of eye shadow appliques, a jar of finishing powder and a brush.  Retail price is $25.

Summer Must Have Beauty: Bronzer Bonanza!

I’ve sampled many a bronzer leading up to this summer season. Here are my picks for this year!

Coverage is streak-free, and looks beautifully natural.  Retail is $24 at Sephora.com, Beauty.com, Ulta and Urban Decay.
If you’re looking for some serious bronzing power, tarte Mineral Powder Bronzer should be your choice for this season.  "Park Avenue Princess" is a deep, dark bronze… perfect to mimic a Caribbean escape, or for use on darker complexions.  And who can resist the luxe gold crocodile-stamped case, complete with gold chains!   Retail price is $28 at tarte and Sephora
Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights, Baked StarburstSmashbox would prefer you to not refer to Fusion Soft Lights as a "bronzer", but this amazing mosaic of 5 different bronze shades makes the skin look both tanned and radiant, earning it a slot in this list! Retail price is $30, and can be found at smashbox or Sephora.com.

Summer Must Have Beauty: gloMoist Hydration Mist

This post was originally published in April of last year… but the product remains a mainstay in the warmer months, so I’m including it in my Summer Must Haves list!

Had you mentioned "Evian" to me in the 80s, it would not have conjured up images of bottled drinking water.  My mother always stocked bottles of Evian mist to replenish facial moisture throughout the day.

I recently snagged a similar product, called gloMoist Hydration Mist.  Ideal to keep at the office for a refresher, its 2 oz. size is also compact enough for application at 30,000 feet.  Simply spray a fine mist of water over your face to rehydrate.  You’ll be simultaneously giving your skin a healthy dose of antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients.
