Spring 2009: Trish McEvoy Eye Shadow

If Trish McEvoy were a Desperate Housewife, she would most certainly be Bree.

Organized to the extreme with her beautiful, chic planners… Trish McEvoy cosmetics are also perfectly on-trend. The shadows introduced by Trish McEvoy for Spring 2009 are a perfect example. Subtle, soft colors inspired by the look of watercolor painting, the shades Pebble, Stone and Iris are contrasted by Ebony as a definer.

Retail price is $16 per shade. I already know what you're wondering. What if these tumultuous economic times prevent me from buying the whole collection? Which shade is the must-have? My personal favorite stand-out shade is the pale dove-gray shade, Pebble (pictured in center). This cool neutral shade is an excellent departure from taupe, and looks beautiful with the bright clothing colors you'll see everywhere this Spring.

Store your cosmetics in a safe place with a consistent temperature. Exposure to extreme hot or cold can compromise your products’ safety and efficacy.

Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before putting your fingers into a product.

Clean or replace your brushes and applicators regularly.

Use a cotton swab when applying make-up to a blemish.

Prevent infections from returning. Stop using eye make-up if you have an eye infection and lip products if you have a cold sore.
