Urban Decay, Baked Bronzer, Raging Rouge Beauty Blog Originally launched in 2002, Urban Decay’s Baked Bronzer has become a popular part of their collection. So popular, in fact, that a new shade will be launched for Summer 2008, to keep you looking bronzed and beautiful!

"Gilded" is a medium-toned bronzer encased in a gorgeous matte gold compact. Through the bronzer, like gold lightening bolts, are shocks of gorgeous shimmering gold color.

Most impressive about this bronzer is its ability to provide streak-free coverage to those with fair to medium skin-tones. As one with extremely pale skin, shopping for bronzer is historically tricky. Urban Decay’s Gilded imparted an extremely natural looking sun-kissed glow. Highly recommended for fair to medium skin!

Summer 2008: Urban Decay Good Karma Brush, Big Buddha

Big Buddha, Urban Decay, Raging Rouge Beauty Blog With my pregnant belly growing as it is, I got quite a chuckle from the name of this new brush by Urban Decay, to be introduced as part of their Summer collection.

This immense brush just happens to be perfectly named. Big Buddha is roughly the size of a small hand, with the brush hair measuring at a whopping 2 1/2 inches long. Similar to the rest of the Good Karma brush collection, Big Buddha is 100% animal friendly, and made of synthetic fibers. Don’t let the synthetic fibers scare you off! This brush is amazingly soft… perhaps the softest applicator brush I’ve ever felt on my skin!

The unique white and purple colors will certainly capture your attention, but the best quality of this this brush is the huge size. Décolleté, legs, arms… Big Buddha is large enough to apply bronzer anywhere that might be a bit too pale to bare unassisted this season.

This gorgeous purple compact contains a pressed powder perfect for any complexion. How can that be? It’s entirely translucent, literally melting into the skin. Use it atop your foundation for a matte finish, or just directly onto the skin to prevent the dreaded shine! Urban Decay, Big Fatty Mascara, Summer 2008 One of the things I love most about Urban Decay is this: they always flip conventional wisdom the bird and just create products they think are gorgeous. Each and every time, I’m crazy about the results.

And so it is with their launch of the four new amazingly vibrant colors of their smashing Big Fatty Mascara. As the name promises, Big Fatty Mascara by Urban Decay plumps lashes to tree-trunk-like volume. Amazing!

You may remember a while back when I featured some almost-black colored mascaras here on Raging Rouge. Well, these new shades: Electric Blue, Indigo, Purple Haze and Black Cherry, are anything but subtle. They are extremely bright 80s inspired shocks of color that are sure to add a bright twist to your look.
