"Dolce Vita" translated from Italian, means: "the sweet life". Based on what I saw while traveling in Italy, this mauve-brown shade embodies the gorgeous, chic women of Rome.

Dolce Vita Lip Gloss is an extremely sophisticated and versatile color. Elegance abounds… no bubble-gum pink here! While this lip gloss is part of the Spring 2008 Shanghai Lily Collection by NARS, but it is actually the reincarnation of an old favorite. Dolce Vita lipstick was a best seller for NARS, so this Spring they re-released this fantastic shade in gloss form.

NARS gloss is extremely rich, and applies and wears almost like a lipstick. I’m such a fan, I’m already shopping for new shades of this glorious gloss to add to my makeup arsenal.

Don’t be too shy to admit it… The post-coital cheek flush is gorgeous, but sadly fleeting. To mimic this gorgeous cheek shade, NARS introduced Orgasm, the blush shade that everyone and their mother owns (literally– my mother owns it too).

Orgasm has been so incredibly popular for NARS (Orgasm blush is their best-selling product), they’ve decided to introduce the shade in The Multiple as part of the Spring 2008 collection, thus enabling fans of the color to add this popular peachy pink shimmer to eyes, cheeks or lips. If one orgasm is good… Why not make it a multiple?

I must admit, it’s easy to get hooked on this universally flattering peach-pink shade. The hint of shimmer makes it magical looking on the skin. My personal favorite use? Dab a bit on your finger and use it on the browbone and cheekbones as a romantic-looking highlighter!

Today’s review: NARS Alhambra Duo Eyeshadow. Enclosed in a signature matte black NARS compact are two shadows in a blushing pink and golden champagne hue. The shimmering metallic sheen ties the two shades perfectly together, leaving the wearer looking like a goddess. These beautiful glowing shades have quickly become a favorite of mine for everyday. Spring 2008 Beauty Launches, BECCA The Ultimate Mascara To name your product "The Ultimate" of anything, you would have to be really confident you have a winner. The chemists at BECCA Cosmetics have indeed developed The Ultimate Mascara. Apply BECCA’s mascara with one swipe, and it appears to tint the lashes and add subtle length. Beautiful for day-wear. Need more drama? The more times you swipe this wand over the lashes, the longer and more voluminous they will get. Yet somehow– miraculously — you seemingly can’t over apply this mascara.

Utilizing micro-tubing technology, this clump-free mascara is also long-lasting. Once applied, it will not run or smudge… making it perfect for when the weather finally starts to heat up.
