I immediately ran to my mother, and asked her to explain how the treatment works. Here’s the routine: before bed, apply an effective hand moisturizer, and then slip on a pair of moisturizing gloves. Since chapped hands are really basically injured hands (small cuts), wearing the gloves overnight hastens healing similar to the way a bandage helps a cut heal faster.
