True story… I learned this fabulous hand-softening trick by watching a mini-series in the 80s about Gloria Vanderbilt. In the series, a man she dated commented on her soft hands, and she explained that she owed it all to "white glove treatments". Excellent script writing, no?

I immediately ran to my mother, and asked her to explain how the treatment works. Here’s the routine: before bed, apply an effective hand moisturizer, and then slip on a pair of moisturizing gloves.
