I mentioned Tarte The Jewelry Box Palette as a great gift idea for holiday 2010, and just wanted to reiterate the fact that I LOVE this makeup palette, and think it is THE makeup gift to give this season!
Firstly, the palette is filled with 32 full-sized silky tarte eyeshadows. Worried about dupes? Don’t be! These shadows are limited-edition, and exclusive to the palette!
Tarte’s beloved bronzer, Park Ave. Princess, is in the house… coupled with a shimmery highlighter. Eight creamy glosses and five eye pencils make this a makeup artists dream…
Bonus: The top of the palette’s case has a removeable necklace!
Retail price is $52. Keep scrolling down for some exclusive close-up photos of The Jewelry Box Palette!

If you like to keep it simple, but only want the best of the best, Guerlain Meteroites Illuminating Powder Perles d’ Or should certainly adorn your vanity.

The beautiful Box Office Sensation holiday palette by LORAC really inspires me to “think outside the box”. Designed in three easy-to-access tiers, the top two levels of this train-case can be divided and pushed to the sides, to access the shades below. While the entire palette contains 36 eyeshadow shades, I actually think of the shadow collection as 4 separate eye palettes, as they are organized into perfectly coordinating collections of 9 eyeshadows.
