Cheek Color

I love glominerals, so when the brand launched gloCheek Sheen this Summer, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a tube!  This cream blush leaves a sheer, dewy wash of color on the cheeks that is so natural and classic.  Currently available in only one color–the universally flattering “peachy”–you can bet I’m hoping more shades are launched soon!

For those with anti-aging on the mind, you’ll be happy to know this cheek cocktail is spiked with Vitamins A, C, E and Green Tea Extract!

Oh, the deep flushed cheek! It’s perhaps my favorite trend from Spring/Summer 2010, and Everyday Minerals is so darned good at helping to achieve the look!

I sampled a shade from the (now sold out) Spring collection, named Rhapsody in Peach.  I was so impressed with the ripe, bold color this blush delivered!

I recently had the opportunity to sample the infamous Shimmer Brick Compact, by Bobbi Brown.  I can’t believe that I’ve never snagged one before!

Lipstick put MAC on the map, but my absolute favorite product by MAC is Mineralize Skinfinish.  These marble-veined multi-shaded face powders just make the complexion come to life like no other product!  In fact, it is extremely rare for me to actually use up an entire beauty product.  Environmentalists everywhere will gag a bit while reading this, but more frequently I throw away partially-used product that has simply expired.

Not so with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish!  Any time I get my hands on one, I use them to completion.  And, I imagine I’ll plow my way through many more in my day!  So, when MAC launched In The Groove, I mostly couldn’t wait to get my mitts on these beauties… and they don’t disappoint!  The metallic streaks through this all-over face powder impart the most gorgeous Summery golden glow.  Another pro?  The versatility!  Either of these shades can be used over the entire face, or applied to just the apples of the cheeks as a blush.
