Lately, I've really been working hard to think outside the box where makeup is concerned. Luckily, my timing is right. It's easier to do than ever this Spring, with vibrant shades in every color of the rainbow cropping up in the Spring/Summer selection!
MAC's Style Warrior collection contains this purple lipstick, Purple Rite. Don't panic! It won't make you look oxygen deprived! Actually, its wonderful buildable coverage allows you to apply a sheer layer of color, or several layers to achieve a rich, vibrant purple. Personally, I opt for just one coat of this frosty lipstick. Sometimes I even top it with MAC's Sugarrimmed Dazzleglass, to make it stand out even more. So many compliments have been received on this combo!
Not to put too fine a point on it, but I'm also a big fan of the Style Warrior packaging. Each lipstick is in a golden tribal-patterned tube, and a different animal print is revealed when you remove the cap. Glam!

If you're looking to ensure your lips are never "naked", apply MAC See-thru Lipcolor to your bare lips. Top with a favorite gloss or lipstick. Even when the gloss or lipstick fades, the stain will remain! It's a wonderful trick to extend the life of your lipcolor.
