Just when I think I’ve sampled everything, in-the-know beauty insiders pass along a new goody for me to share with Raging Rouge readers!
The team at Cosmetique.com recently introduced me to the brand Jean-Michelle. I had the chance to sample two of their sublime, buttery gloss shades and one silky eyeshadow quad.
Pictured at left are Jean-Michelle Lip Couleur Liquide Glosses. Immediately upon application, I couldn’t help but wonder if this gloss was officially the least sticky gloss I have ever worn! The formula is so smooth and emollient, it simply glides on the lips and feels almost like a balm. Another huge pro? The Jean-Michelle Lip Couleur Liquide Glosses deliver bright, frosty, buildable color perfect for Summer 2010.
Pragmatism aside… the product and super-luxe minimalist bottle appeal to sophisticated women, but the ripe strawberry scent appeals to the fun-loving little girl in us all! Seriously, what a delightful surprise it was to smell that delicious scent!

Swatch above: Bordeaux. This pale frosty shade of taupe calls attention to a tan like none other, and goes with EVERYTHING.
Swatch above: Rose Jardin. This deep raspberry shade is a must for Summer 2010.
Retail price is $15 per gloss at Cosmetique.com
Head back in a few hours for another Jean-Michelle product review!
The author of Raging Rouge received press samples for purposes of this makeup review / product review. For more information on sample policies, please click HERE to read my full disclosure statement.

I recently had the fun opportunity to sample the latest by Make Up For Ever. The recently launched Aqua Cream is a collection of rich, creamy, high-pigment formulas for use on eyes, cheeks or lips. Appropriately, Raging Rouge was sent a pot of #8, the rich shade of red pictured in this post.
Considering the bright shade, I was a bit hesitant to test this product on my cheeks. But providing that you show restraint–and apply the product minimally to your skin–it delivers a healthy, rosy glow. Remember… do not apply this product liberally, thinking you can wipe it off. Apply a little at a time, building up the color until you achieve the desired result.
