VB Cosmetics certainly had busy Moms in mind when they created Dazzle Dry. Shortly after baby #2 arrived, I went for my first mani/pedi to decompress. My technician followed the easy-to-understand 3-step routine perfectly. Here it is in a nutshell: Dazzle dry base coat, two coats of polish, top coat. Simple! My manicure looked perfect for the first time in months, and I admired it.
But I had work to do! For the sake of my loyal readers, I had to TEST the polish. My Mom warned me not to tempt fate! She insisted, based on many disappointments, that no quick-dry polish really works. I closed my eyes, said a little prayer and jammed a fingernail into my recently polished nails. Not a scratch! I'm pleased to report this quick dry routine actually keeps its promises!
The Dazzle Dry kit pictured retails for $54. Included are: one 1oz. Nail Prep, one 0.5oz. Base Coat, one 0.5oz. Dazzle Dry quick drying Top Coat and three 0.5oz. Nail Lacquers of your choice. Additional nail lacquers retail for $9 each. I can't wait to see what new colors their Spring 2009 collection will hold!
One final note! Dazzle Dry is free of DBP Toluene and Formaldehyde!

October 1 (today!) begins Breast Cancer Awareness month. In honor of this great cause, I’ll be mentioning and reviewing many beauty products that donate proceeds to Breast Cancer Awareness.
Readers– pay close attention. I guarantee you that the deep eggplant purple shade pictured at left–named Illegal Purple–will be THE "it" nail polish for the Fall season. This gorgeously edgy nail color is just one of many reasons that MAC worshipers will be lined up at their local MAC counters on August 21st (today!) to celebrate the introduction of Cult of Cherry, a MAC Cosmetics Fall 2008 Color Collection.
