Ho boy! Various severe illnesses, a remodel project, a family vacation, an ER visit and a partridge in a pear tree! This beauty blogger is way backlogged right now, and I must sincerely apologize that my reviews of the latest and greatest Spring 2011 makeup launches have not been published in a timely manner.
Not only do I need to apologize to you–my beloved reader–but I also owe a huge apology to MAC Sheen Supreme lipcolor. This is my first time posting about this recent launch, and the truth is it is my #1 favorite new product launch thus far in 2011. In the past 6 months, I’ve reviewed countless “hybrid” lipcolor products, which have basically been sheer glosses in lipstick form. MAC Sheen Supreme is more opaque. The color impact is definitely more like a lipstick. The feel is light and whipped, no heaviness or chalkyness here!
Retail price is $14.50. I demand you check them out!

For Summer 2011, MAC has added a huge quantity of new product to their permanent collection! Bronze Everyday–scheduled to hit counters in June 2011–contains countless ways to achieve the perfect Summer glow without exposing your skin to sun damage!

When I first spied MAC’s CUTiE Quad eyeshadow palette–from the MAC Quite Cute collection–I didn’t think this collection of four Easter-egg hued eyeshadows would be the kind of makeup I would chose to wear everyday. I was so wrong! In fact, this swirl of candy-colored shades can be either bold or subtle, depending on where you apply each color on your lids.
Here’s some easy-to-follow Spring 2011 makeup advice. Stick to your favorite tried and true neutrals, but add one bright shade to your routine to modernize your look.
