Drugstore Chic: Gillette Fusion Razor

Eternally in search of a better shave, The Art of Shaving store at our nearby mall lured my husband in like a siren’s song. After talking to the baby-faced store manager who likely didn’t need to shave more than once weekly, we learned an interesting fact. Some of the most fabulous razors offered by The Art of Shaving actually use a Gillette Fusion Razor (with a whopping five blades!)

Well, my husband isn’t one to really need a $250 razor, so rather than invest at The Art of Shaving, he took his business elsewhere, to purchase a Gillette Fusion power razor. He’s been raving about this product ever since, and his face feels silky soft after each shave.

MAC Suite Array Eyeshadow Duos

I'm a former frequent traveler, and always hated whittling down my makeup collection to carry-on size. Luckily, today's business woman on the go needs no such sacrifice. These adorable shadow duos by MAC in the Suite Array collection are roughly the size of a matchbook, and are available in 8 different color combos.

I'm loving the shimmering Sweet Liaison (a pale yellow gold and dark metallic brown) and the sultry Smoke & Ash (perfect to create the smokey eye). The surprise was how much I liked the Rose Suites shades (top image). The pale pink/deep pink combo wasn't overkill at all. The combination was eye-opening!
