Launched at the American Eagle flagship store in NYC, aerie’s makeup collection made quite a splash! Shoppers received makeovers from celebrity makeup artists Searon McGratten and Pascale Poma, and also received an exclusive gift with any aerie Color purchase and an aerie Color Vast Lash Mascara with any aerie purchase of $35 or more. Some shoppers even posed for a “15 Seconds of Fame” photo studio and had their portraits projected onto the 15,000-square-feet Times Square LED screen. Now that must have made some interesting dinnertime conversation, that evening!
aerie Color includes Botanical Volugloss in eight shades, Superfruit Vitamin Gloss in nine shades, Vast Lash Mascara, which features industry’s first spiral rubber brush technology, four radiant eye shadow palettes with five shades in each and Forever Liner eyeliner, available in four shades. ($8.50 – $14.50).
I, for one, am dying to check out these new beauty products!

If I had to select must-have gems from the shu uemura Spring 2010 Egerie makeup collection, it would most certainly be the Satin Radiant Stick.
This creamy cheek color stick is available in two shades that can either be used stand-alone, or together. Blush color is a beautiful, dewy, pinkish neutral shade. Highlight is a shimmery champagne shade. Use blush color to add some color to the cheeks, and then highlight to make those cheekbones really pop!

shu uemura’s Egerie muse is part rock-star, and part fairie. These shimmery pastel hues of eye color capture the mythical fairie part of the look. shu uemura Eye Shimmer Duo contains two separate products. First, a liquid shadow primer. Second, a shimmery metallic loose powder eye shadow.
How to apply: dispense a tiny amount of liquid eye shadow base from the tube, and apply a thin layer to the eyelid. Wait for it to dry (it dries fast!) and then apply the loose eye shadow powder over the base, using the included applicator wand. That’s it! The look is now complete. And let me tell you, this look is perfect for a night out. Once it’s applied, this makeup simply WILL NOT BUDGE until you remove it. Great for a night of dancing!

For Spring 2010, shu uemura has launched this limited-edition color collection: egerie (modern icon). Included in the collection are three shades of eye shimmer duo, wild rocker-chic false eyelashes, Satin Radiant Stick, Rouge Unlimited lipstick and two shades of Nail Enamel!
Nail Enamel PA010 is an intense black shade with silvery sparkles. Nail Enamel P935 is a highly pearly pink, perfect for the “less rebellious” among we of Egerie ilk.
