Aveeno Positively Radiant #Ad

I’m in the mood for SPRING and SUMMER readers! I wanted to share the spoils of my recent @ToryBurch #Haul @Shopbop!

THE BAG: Every year, I always keep my eye out for a straw bag to carry through the warm-weather months. My love for straw accessories started in my 20s, when a friend chastised me for carrying a heavy leather tote on 90 degree days. She was right! It just LOOKS funny! Here in AZ the temps are already in the 90s, so I was happy to find the Tory Burch York Straw Buckle Tote! The Tory Burch York design is roomy, with one extremely large center pocket that zips, two roomy open sections, and a large zipped side pocket with several open pockets as well. It’s not just attractive, it’s the ultimate in organization. This tote is ROOMY but a lightweight 28 oz. Metallic gold Saffiano leather trim adds an upscale-resort vibe to a streamlined design. This bag can be carried as a satchel, or over the shoulder.

THE WALLET: I’m all about YELLOW this season, but only as an accent color. I thought the perfect way to add this color to my day to day look was through this Tory Burch York Zip Continental Wallet in “Sunshine”. I’m a long-time fan of Tory Burch wallets, and there are SO many card slots (16) in this design, it’s perfect for me! The wallet also features an interior zipped coin purse and a wrist strap for hand-free carrying when you want to travel light!

THE SNEAKERS: My favorite pair of Nike running sneakers look like a shark has gotten to them, so this online shopper got to work to find a replacement. I’ve had such a hard time finding a comfortable sneaker! As a shot in the dark, I purchased the new Tory Burch Colorblock Suede Trainer in Gray and was so surprised by how comfortable they are! I love that this sneaker is crafted from suede, and the back of the heel features a trendy colorblock design and a Tory Burch logo.

Stowaway Makeup Review

Trust me, those of us flying regularly deserve to use the term “warrior”.

I rose in the early AM on Monday to hop a jet, sometimes having to wake as early as 3 am. By the time I landed, it already felt like I had worked a full day, but no. There was at a minimum a 9 hour workday facing me before I got to check into my hotel room. Sometimes I was up a full 24 hours before I had the opportunity to sleep.

Among the many challenges of travel is missing the creature comforts of home. This long-time makeup lover had to abandon a vast selection in favor of a succinct collection that would suit my daily needs and fit easily in my carry-on. Each week I had only two lip colors to choose from, two or three eye pencils, and a tiny neutral shadow compact (or no shadow at all).

The founders of Stowaway Cosmetics are familiar with this conundrum. It doesn’t only affect frequent travelers, but women who exercise at a gym, need to reapply at work, or heck, anyone who wants to tote an assortment of cosmetics with her day-to-day.
