Laura Mercier has so much to offer, even the most critical beauty lover would find something to love. Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder (photographed above in shade 03) features a powder foundation in the top layer of the compact, which flips upward toward the compact mirror to reveal an application sponge.
This particular shade of powder has a hint of pink, so it’s great for gals with a bit of pink undertone. This powder foundation delivers some great coverage, and I noticed immediately that it cancels the redness my cheeks, a huge pro! The finish is simply matte perfection.

This year, the brand has introduced 1 Million Intense for Men, so I was curious to sample the product and see just how “intense” the scent was. My thoughts on the original 1 Million was that it was most certainly intended for a powerful man, so I was quite surprised that intense actually didn’t seem quite so intense! In fact, I like it even more than the original! Paco Rabanne 1 Million Intense is masculine, but not overpowering, and has a slight hint of sweetness. Notes are a combination of spicy and citrus.
Retail price is $63 for a 1.7 oz spray, and $84 for a 3.4 oz spray. Collections and layering options abound!
