By 2010, the number of Fendi fragrances available in the marketplace was… an astonishing ZERO! Hard to believe, isn’t it?
Well, if you’ve been sulking over the lack of Fendi fragrance options, Fall 2011 is a lucky season for you! Fan di Fendi–the anxiously awaited new Fendi fragrance–has finally hit shelves!
Fan di Fendi is sensual and polished, and not overpowering. To me the fragrance is all about taste, wealth and sophistication. I imagine the woman who wears it to be dressed to the nines and excruciatingly successful. Funny, because the ads wrapped around the scent tell a completely different story from my impression! This blogger is always a fan of superb packaging, and Fendi did not disappoint. Created in 1965 by Karl Lagerfeld himself, the “FF” logo is still a status symbol almost 50 years later. Naturally, it is fitting for this recognizable logo to be selected as the design for the of the bottle, gleaming in a mirror-finish opulent gold.

Heart Notes: Damascena rose and yellow jasmine
