I wrote eons ago about a facial peel by Exuviance that helped rid me of acne scarring and bumpiness along my jawline. Well, recently Exuviance launched something even more hard-core! The Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 contains a 25% level of active peeling ingredients (alpha hydroxy acids, polyhydroxy acids, glycolic acid, mandelic acid and gluconolactone). The gang’s all here!
In this blogger’s humble opinion, Exuviance skin care products are some of the best available when it comes to dealing with skin woes. God only knows I sampled dozens of different products before, only to be utterly disappointed.
Using this at-home peel is super simple. After testing a small area of skin–to ensure you won’t be irritated–just follow these instructions: First, remove makeup. Then, wipe an Activator Pad over your entire face. Wait for 10 minutes (unless you experience discomfort) and then wipe a neutralizer pad over your entire face. It’s that simple! Each pad is individually packaged, making them extremely totable for travel, or even if you want to do the treatment at the gym!
12 peels (a 6 week supply) retails for $60. It’s apparently the highest concentration of these ingredients available outside of a doctor’s office!

‘Tis the season for the beach read! Just in time to entertain sun-bathers everywhere, Brenda Novak’s latest: White Heat, will be launching today! Personally, I’m really hoping to have the opportunity to curl up with this romantic suspense novel. This book is the first of a three-part book series: White Heat, Body Heat and Killer Heat. Interesting fact: Brenda’s career was launched when she discovered her daycare provider was drugging her children to induce sleep. Horrific! Since ditching the drug-pushing nanny and staying home, Brenda has written about FORTY novels. She’s my idol!
To be named “America’s #1 Lip Gloss” is quite an accomplishment. Here’s a statistic that will just blow your mind: Avon sells the equivalent of EIGHT Glazewear Lip Glosses each minute! Wow… that’s a lot of gloss, America! Upon having the opportunity to sample the glosses in this collection, I’m beginning to understand why the ladies here in the USA are so smitten. Firstly, the pricetag is a super-reasonable $6. Secondly, there are three finishes to select from: intense (rich lipstick-like color), Sparkle (high gloss with a shimmer effect) and Shine (super shiny, and super sheer). Thirdly, there are a total of 16 shades in the collection, ranging from a sexy deep red to a perfectly clear top coat! With all of that diversity and a budget-friendly price, it’s easy for me to understand why American women are hooked!

What a RELIEF! As the Mom of two young children, I’ve had to ignore my dry hands and continually apply harsh hand sanitizers to keep my household in good health. The good news? Hand sanitizers work! My family somehow coasted through the Winter almost illness free. The bad news? Hand saniziters positively wreak havoc on the hands.
