I recently tried on this modified cat-eye style from Tom Ford eyewear, and now I can’t get them out of my head! Can one of you please buy the Celia sunglass and tell me they give you a horrible headache so I can stop obsessing over them? Thanks!

If you love gloss, but want the color payoff of a lipstick, you MUST check out the MAC Vamplify Gloss collection. This formula is brandy new, available in 17 colors, and is crazy pigment-rich! Firstly, I need to mention the packaging. These gloss tubes are long and slender, each flaunting the color inside as a backdrop for the edgy “vamplify” font. They are so glam!

The formula contains moisturizing oils, so it feels fantastic while dressing your lips up for the day. Above, MAC Vamplify glosses from left to right: Spanking Haute (a medium neutral shade), Speed Up (a vivid bubblegum pink), and Tuned In (a raisin laced with golden shimmer). The collection was launched with 12 new Pro Longwear Lip Pencil shades as well, if you’re a fan of wearing a long-lasting base beneath your gloss, or keeping those edges defined.
Retail price is $20 per Vamplify gloss, and $20 per Pro Longwear Lip Pencil.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me! I live in Scottsdale, and here Fall feels like–well–summer. Despite this fact, I’m still feeling a bit of the “change of season” blues. Must be plain old habit!
There are some things to look forward to during the Fall though. While some are gaga over “pumpkin spice” everything, the highlight of Fall in my opinion are the Fall makeup collections. If you’re looking for some makeup to perk you up, check out these cozy autumn shades from the MAC Haute Dogs collection for Fall 2015!

Ah, Shadester. This product is a new favorite. It’s a gorgeous medium tan shade that is intended for use as a sculpting color, but is equally good as a matte blush or bronzer. Such versatility! Retail price is $17.

MAC’s Fluidline is a creamy, potted gel liner delivers such incredible color! The pewter shade named “Catch My Eye” is an ideal modern ashy neutral that delivers a metallic zing. Retail price is $16.50.

Labradorable Mineralize Rich Lipstick is a deep merlot shade with a semi-sheer finish that is very forgivable, no pencil needed to keep it in place! The Mineralize Rich Lipstick formula has an amazing emollient feel, so if you shy away from lipsticks you’ll love this one! Retail price is $23.

The super-pale barely there shade of MAC Lap Dog Mineralize Glass makes it an easy “go-to” color. The pale hue draws attention to the lips without being flashy, and the formula feels so divine! Retail price is $23.

MAC Very Important Poodle nail lacquer is the color of a spicy, warm coffee concoction. I can’t think of a color that says fall better, and the medium warm hue of this neutral isn’t something you’ve seen every year. Retail price is $12. MAC nail lacquer boasts long wear, and is big-3 free!

When NARS recently announced the launch of their new Pro Palette, I was instantly giddy. Two sizes of empty magnetic palettes are available for you to fill with whatever shades you wish. It’s ideal for makeup artists, whose needs change daily. It’s great for travel, an amazing gift for the woman who has it all, or simply for those with a fondness for cosmetics like me.
I feel like I’ve been REALLY focused on eye makeup lately, so I quickly determined I would love to create the ultimate cheek palette, filled with some of my favorite NARS blush shades and enhanced with new colors I’ve never tried! NARS knocked me off of my feet, and sent me the blush collection of my childhood dreams to play with. I’m so pleased to share this major eye candy with you today!

I purchased a total of 12 NARS Blush shades and 2 Highlighting Blush Shades. To kick off my first review of the new Pro Palette, I narrowed down the selection to nine colors, which fit snugly in the small Pro Palette size as seen above ($14 empty). Each blush refill pan is $21. Refills are $9 less than a blush in its own case, so these refillable palettes are also a great way to save some money if you’re constantly replenishing NARS makeup! This palette is simple to use. Simply place a pan on the palette and a magnet holds it firmly in place. Slide it to your desired position, and you’re set! The palette has a finger indentation on the right hand side to safely remove pans without damaging your makeup. The entire concept is convenient, and a reusable pro palette reduces waste as well!

For this post, I chose to fill the small palette with the following individual NARS Blush shades, starting at the TOP, from left to right: Deep Throat, Outlaw, Orgasm, Torrid, Sin, and Angelika. The bottom row contains highlight colors and a neutral blush that can also double as a bronzer: Miss Liberty, Albatross, and Luster. It’s a great selection of shades including highlights, neutrals, apricots, pinks, corals, and raisin. I’m looking forward to sharing swatches with you in the future!

The NARS blush refills come in slender boxes, lovingly protected in individual clamshell containers. KEEP THE CLAMSHELLS! They are perfect for storing your makeup when you remove it from the palette.

Check it out! These blushes take up barely any space in their clamshells, and if you plan to buy only one palette you’ll want the freedom to mix and match what you’re using in your palette!
Retail NARS small Pro Palette is $14. A large Pro Palette is $18. Blushes retail for $21 each. I’m insanely in love with the concept, and happy that NARS is offering it to NARSissists everywhere! You’ll be reading more about the NARS Pro Palette in the future.

The latest innovation in the world of brow pencils is this chisel-tip soft pencil by Hourglass. The ingenious shape of the Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil is equally suited to fill sections with thicker color coverage or to create fine, soft strokes with the narrow point. This mechanical brow pencil delivers soft, natural looking color, and even comes with a built in brush for grooming.

As is the case with most Hourglass products, I was instantly smitten with this pencil and it has become my “go to” brow pencil. The shape of the tip makes it versatile, and the retractable design means no messy sharpening. I love the fact that it has a brow brush on the bottom for convenience. The formula even helps keep my brows in place!
Retail price is $32 per pencil. I know it sounds pricey, but this pencil replaces powder, pencil, and wax! It’s a 3-for-1 deal!
Shades available: Platinum Blonde, Blonde, Warm Blonde, Auburn, Soft Brunette, Warm Brunette, Dark Brunette, Ash, and Natural Black.
